The ProScope Quickstart for Macintosh

1.  Disable any antivirus software before installation.

2. Insert the CD-Rom into your computer.

3.  Drag the "Scalar USB Micro 1.0" icon over to the systems folder and place in the extensions folder.

4.  Drag the folder marked "USB Shot" onto the desktop and then drag it into the applications folder in your hard drive.

5. Restart your computer.

6.  Plug in The ProScope into the USB port.

4.  Double click the USB Shot icon that is in the USB Shot Folder and enjoy.

Trouble-shooting:
To make sure you have smooth imaging while using the laptop battery, click the Apple icon in the upper left of the screen; click Control Panels; click Energy Saver; click Advanced Settings; uncheck the "Allow processor cycling" box for both "battery" and "adapter"

If the unit does not stablize after touching an object, that is, its color goes from lighter to darker, click the second icon down on the left and uncheck the "Auto Exposure" button.
